Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
Thanks to Integrated Listening Systems Australia https://www.integratedlistening.com and Dr Stephen Porges https://www.stephenporges.com
Equanimity now offers the Safe and Sound Protocol or SSP which consists of five (5) hours of acoustic therapy, which works on restabilising your nervous system and bringing individuals out of chronic fight or flight.
This works on the Poly Vagal System which Dr Porges has written so much about and his research is endless in supportive evidence toward the role of the middle ear muscles, and the resetting of frequencies to assist with a range of issues including sensory processing issues, autism, ADHD, PTSD, C-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, sleep disturbance and the list goes on.

5 hours of sound therapy
The five hours are structured over a schedule individualised to the clients schedule and lifestyle as well as their individual tolerances for the therapy. The timing can also be adjusted as we progress depending on life circumstances.
Enhances Effectiveness of other Therapies
The SSP is not a stand alone therapy for many people. It is often utilised to assist with the effectiveness of other therapy modalities but placing the nervous system and social regulation system back in to a safe and secure state in order to be receptive to other therapy modes, and behavioural modification programs, including those implemented at school by teachers, and programs conducted by Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and similar professionals.
