Darcy Hill - Provisional Psychologist and ADHD Focused Practitioner
Hello there! I'm Darcy Hill, a provisional psychologist currently rounding out my internship at Equanimity Psychological Services. My journey in psychology has been deeply shaped by several enriching years spent working closely with children and adolescents with ASD and ADHD. These experiences have fueled my passion for supporting young minds through their unique challenges. I have an equal passion and enjoyment for working with adults too!
My professional path has led me to work with a diverse range of clients dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, substance use, behavioral issues, PTSD, and more. I'm dedicated to providing evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Drawing from a variety of modalities like Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each individual I work with.
Central to my practice is creating a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel safe and supported on their journey towards wellness.
I have a special interest in easing ADHD challenges, and am accredited as an ADHD focused practitioner making me Equanimity Psychological Services' dedicated ADHD clinician. I'm passionate about trauma-informed care and assisting clients in navigating the challenges that come with mood-related issues during stressful periods of their lives.
I feel great privilege and joy from supporting school-aged children and teens in overcoming obstacles that hinder their academic success. By collaborating closely with schools and parents, I strive to ensure that every young person receives the comprehensive support they need to succeed.

Cleo - Therapy Dog in Training
Cleo is nearly 18 months old and starting to take to her training quite well, she loves to dress up and keep warm, she is very photogenic and becomes quite exhausted after one client - she is young and has ‘cranky pants’ boundaries and we love her!

Lexi Bennett
Founding Director/ Principal/ Board Approved Supervisor

Macklemore - Therapy Dog in Training
Macklemore is 12 months old and loves to announce his arrival, his presence, his departure, and everyone else’s movements as well, just in case you missed something - he also likes to sing hence his name and he is a massive lap dog with ‘FOMO’ (fear of missing out) so he must be by Lexi’s side at all times.
These puppies are still in training but are learning fast and have good instincts so if you see them in clinic and would like to meet them, please let reception or Lexi know and we will guide you with how best to interact with each one ( they are very different) it is great for social skills development! If you have any issues with the k9 therapists being present or any phobias, please advise us in advance so we can manage this whilst you are in attendance in the clinic.

Laura - Registered Psychologist/Telehealth Practitioner
Laura’s full bio and picture is on it’s way. Laura starts with us in February as a Telehealth practitioner and is an amazingly caring and ethical practitioner that enjoys her profession of supporting clients passionately and even though she lives interstate - we could not let the opportunity to have her involved with our clinic pass us by. We are looking forward to Laura starting with us and bookings can be made with Laura who has a broad application of experience and training in all areas of practice as a generalist at any time while she still has some space available as I am confident she will book quickly. Laura is of course telehealth only due to her location however she does attract a health fund and/or medicare rebate and also is experienced in NDIS, Workers compensation and Assessment reporting. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask us on 02 4313 1873
