Booking an Appointment:

Booking an appointment with any of our practitioners, Rob, Sashi, Darcy or Lexi is easy. Our online booking system is available here for Rob and here for Sashi, Darcy and Lexi

and payment can be easily made at time of booking.

If you feel you are in need of an appointment earlier than the calendar is allowing, we do apologise but we do keep a cancellation list so when you book your appointment simply let administration know that you would like to be added to the cancellation list and what days and times suit you best and you will be notified of cancellations as they become available.

For this reason it is essential that all cancellations are notified to us via text or email or voicemail at least 2 days prior to your appointment time so that we are able to offer the cancelled appointment time to someone waiting on an appointment.

Cancellation Fees:

You will receive a text or email reminder of your appointment 2 business days in advance of your appointment to which you will need to respond to confirm or cancel your appointment. If you need to cancel at this time, there is no cancellation fee, however, for all cancellations less than 2 business days from your appointment time, a cancellation fee may be charged up to the full session fee. Cancellation fees are due on the day of your scheduled appointment. The reminders are a courtesy only - so please note that if for any reason, such as technical issues, you do not receive your reminder, and do not cancel in time, you will still be charged a cancellation fee. Do not rely on your reminders to cancel or reschedule your appointments.

Medicare and Health Fund Rebates:

All fully registered practitioners are registered with all Health funds, Medicare, and DVA and SIRA approved for WorkCover. Therefore, with an eligible referral from your GP you will be eligible for a rebate from Medicare. Without a referral from your GP, if you have coverage from your Health Fund for Psychological Treatment, you may be eligible for a rebate from your Fund and a receipt will be provided to you for this purpose.

Rob is also registered with all health funds for rebates on your massage as well as CTP injury claims.

Provisional Psychologists and low cost Expert guided collaborate clinicians are at times available for the gap only fee and as such you do not need a referral to consult and in addition to being available at relatively short notice, there is also no limit on how many sessions you can attend at this lower ‘gap’ fee equivalent.

Payment:

Payment of session fees are payable at the time of your appointment, or can be made in advance at time of booking. We accept all forms of payment, including EFTPOS except for American Express. We can also process your Medicare Rebate for you before you leave. We have HICAPS, however can provide an email receipt for electronic claiming as well. Fees vary based on time and nature of appointment so although our base fees are listed on booking appointments they can vary so don’t be afraid to double check when booking via a follow up email on reception@equaco.com.au. We also store cards in our system now to ensure payment of accounts and as such your card will be securely stored with your consent and only charged with your consent at time of session payment to further streamline this payment and rebate process.

Generally* the following fee guide can be used:

- Clinical Psychology - $280 per session($300 for first appointments)

- Appointment with Director - $300 - $350 per session

- Provisional Psychologist - $170 per session ($190 for first appointments)

- Remedial Massage - $150 per session (Including GST)

- K9 Massage - $130 per session (Including GST)

- Assessments are quoted separately based on need.

- NDIS, DVA, Workcover - as per gazetted fees

Session Times:

All Psychology sessions are 50 mins in duration unless a specific assessment or extended session has been pre negotiated with your therapist and booked ahead of time - additional costs apply for extended time.

Equaco also accepts DVA and NDIS clients.
